Komodo Dragon BehaviorThe Komodo dragon is a solitary animal, except during the breeding season. It is a very territorial animal. It is active during the day, can climb trees, it is a good swimmer and has good eyesight. Komodo dragons are opportunistic feeders and will eat anything they can. They eat deer, goat, wild boar and other lizards. Komodo dragons are carnivorous and cannibalistic animals. Komodos can consume as much as 80% of their body weight at one time.
